I got this nice three 15 minutes episodes series called dr. horrible sing along. Funny, grim and musical. Not sure if you guys will like it, the songs grow on you after a while. it is free for distribution in USA i think, get it from this site
it is a very short series, i liked it mainly i liked the bad guy actor in how i met your mother tv series.

it has its own wikipedia page, apparenlty it started when the writers went on strike and someone decided to do something small, cheap and profiessional and he came out with this short series.
