A family in Saudi Arabia, saying it is harassed by spirits, is taking a “genie” to court, accusing it of theft and other charges, the Al-Watan newspaper reported.
The family says the spirit has threatened the household, attacked it with stones and robbed family members of mobile phones.
The family have lived in the same house near the city of Medina for 15 years but say they only recently became aware of the spititual presence and moved out.
“We began to hear strange sounds,” the head of the family, who was not named and comes from Mahd al-Dahab, told the Saudi daily,
A local court is investigating “despite the difficulty” of verifying the claims, the newspaper said.
Genies are a part of Islamic theology and are believed to have power to possess humans.

You are referring to Jesus story with the woman whose daughter was possessed? I do not know kinzi, but this whole story is doubtful! I mean how come Jesus turn her down and tell her that he was sent for the sons of Israel only! And this is the only account of demon possession that I ever heard of in stories about Jesus!

BUT, when the Apostle Paul cast a demon out of a slave girl who could tell fortunes, the girl’s owner was about to kill him. Wonder if he tried to sue.
There are actually eight specific recorded instances when Jesus cast demons from people, including Mary Magdalene. It is also noted that both Jesus and his disciples cast out demons wherever they went.
Weird as the whole things sounds, I seen people manifest demons a couple times and have personally cast one out of a guy. It was scary and I would never want to do it again. I was studying Wicca before I became a Christian, and it was a supernatural encounter with my mentor’s ‘spirit guide’ that made me become a Christian.

Supreme Ki, take another look at that story, it is a cool one. The disciples are bothered by her, they see her as a gentile pest to send away.
Jesus engages her in this discussion to prove a point to his disciples, as they claim him even then as their own as a Jew. He wanted to use her faith, her worship, her persistence as an example to them that he came for all.
He isn’t calling her a ‘dog’ in a derogatory manner, the Greek word is ‘puppy’. Her faith and trust was greater than even his disciples, and he healed her daughter as a result. I’ll be blogging about this story soon.

Jin, Demons or whatever are supposed to be things we can not see nor can they possess human beings! What kind of God is this that allow such a thing to happen without telling us what to do, leaving it for Jesus and some people to solve it! Noooo way!

I don’t blame you for doubting my sanity, but I can assure you, I am a quite sane and have seen the effect of demonic activity in people close to me. The woman in Tabor Bour brought a demon to my home in West Amman, my young son saw it, it talked to him. I blogged about it.
I believe the bible to be the inspired Word of God, and from Genesis to Revelation forces of darkness, demons and the possession of humans is there. It happens when people get too far from God and the pursuit of goodness, when they begin to think they are like God.

Jesus left pretty detailed instructions on how to get rid of them: pray in His name. I wasn’t even a Christian when the horrific situation with my MIL happened, I had just heard that Jesus had power of evil and I prayed “Jesus, if you are who my friend says you are, help me!”
Things had been moving around inside the house, like “Poltergeist”, and when I prayed, it stopped.
God is a good God, that is why he left us Jesus’ example to follow, he didn’t leave us alone at the whim of demons. At one point his disciples said they couldn’t cast a demon out, and he told them that some demons require prayer and fasting. Another time, their faith was weak. He def did not leave us without help.
I am not pursuing contact with evil, I hate it, it scares me, but when I call on Jesus, he gives me strength and fear leaves. I suggest you read the New Testament a few more times. I will be praying for you.
