I’ve been thinking about using my free time in something useful. I had German language in mind for sometime but now that Yanal is taking that in college I’ll just review it with him. So I decided I’d learn music!

I remember screwing up in that music quiz we once had that only included mimicking some clapping pattern, remember it? But again, I don’t want to learn how to use an instrument or all that cool stuff. I want to learn how to read and write musical notes, learn the basics of music. And since I have absolutely 0 commitment, enlisting myself in some place that gives lectures won’t suffice. I’ll look for some nice guy who knows about these stuff that’s willing to teach them to me in random lectures. If you anyone that u recommend please let me know. Not sure how much that’ll cost but we can talk about it.

  1. i can teach you how to read a note. it is much simpler than you think.

reading notes is nice, but u still need an instrument to play it. anyway i would teach ya once. i don;t think it will need more than 1 session, two maximum

  2. if you told me earlier , i could have sent my book with saad…i took “music theory” class, and the book is easy to read and understand…and it goes all the way to the writing chord progressions, which is kinda the hardest thing.

if you wanna learn an instrument , i would recommend a saxophone ..it is easy and pretty interesting

  3. i only can teach how to read a freakin note. i don’t think i can teach anything else, but this is the main thing to play some music
